OverviewThe role ofFaculty for Hospitality is crucial in ensuring the delivery ofhighquality education and training in the field of hospitalitywithin the organization. The individual will play a key role inshaping the learning experiences of students and preparing them forsuccessful careers in the hospitalityindustry.KeyResponsibilities
  • Designing anddelivering course materials that meet the educational needs ofstudents pursuing hospitalityprograms.
  • Developing and implementing effectiveteaching strategies to engage and inspire students in theirlearning.
  • Conducting assessments and providingconstructive feedback to students to support their learning anddevelopment.
  • Collaborating with other facultymembers to enhance the curriculum and ensure its alignment withindustry standards.
  • Supervising and advisingstudents on their academic and professional growth in thehospitality field.
  • Participating in academicresearch publication and other scholarly activities related tohospitality education.
  • Engaging in continuousprofessional development to stay updated with industry trends andbest practices.
  • Participating in facultymeetings committees and other academic initiatives to contribute tothe overall growth of theinstitution.
  • Establishing and maintainingindustry connections to facilitate student internships placementsand industry partnerships.
  • Providing mentorshipand guidance to students to help them succeed in their academic andprofessional endeavors.
RequiredQualifications
  • Masters degree orhigher in Hospitality Management Tourism or a relatedfield.
  • Significant experience working in thehospitality industry preferably in leadershiproles.
  • Proven track record of teaching ortraining in hospitality educationsettings.
  • Strong knowledge of industrypractices trends and emerging technologies in the hospitalitysector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop anddeliver innovative and industryrelevantcurriculum.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to effectively engage with students andindustry professionals.
  • Ability to workcollaboratively in a diverse academic environment and contribute tothe academic community.
  • Professionalcertifications or credentials related to hospitality management oreducation are desirable.
  • Passion for educationand a commitment to fostering the growth and development of futurehospitality professionals.
  • Proficiency inrelevant software and technology used in hospitality management andeducation.
