The Institutional domain will deliver full end-to-end world class products and services to our global Institutional, Corporate and Commercial and Retail customers across Asia. It will incorporate capabilities across areas of Investment Banking, Trading and Sales, Cash Management, Wholesale Lending and Trade Finance and with a single view of a customer to better integrate business and technology in creating a seamless customer experience. The domain will lead digital transformation in areas such as trade and supply chain management to create a seamless customer experience.
What will your day look like
Deliver as part of a global team of Software/Systems Engineers focusing on the stability and reliability of Murex (2.11,3.1) and SKY platform, ANZ in-house risk and pricing system Manage end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Lead by example, care for the team, and establish credibility with the quality of the teams' technical execution. Manage and contribute to on-call rotations across continents, using a follow-the-sun model. Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Murex and SKY services. Coordinate the documentation effort through precise transcripts of incident post-mortems, problem description and overall quality documentation Implements a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation Contributes to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practicesWhat will you bring?
Hands-on technical experience Experience integrating and managing globally distributed teams of experienced Engineers Capable of technical deep dives into code, networking, operating systems and storage Deep understanding of Software Engineering and Computer Science principles Strong communication skills Understand customer needs to make sound judgments Pays attention to the detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality solutions Understanding of current state landscape and relevant technologies Has a broad understanding of how to apply New Ways of Working to their role 0-8 years’ experience supporting/managing Murex systems. Experience working with one or more of the following- C, C++, Java and/or Python. Hands-on expertise in Windows servers administration and troubleshooting Good understanding of a High-Performance Computing distributed architecture ideally on the Windows platform (Microsoft HPC) A desire to write tools and applications to automate work e.g., with Python rather than do everything by hand. Strong programming and scripting fundamentals in any programming language preferably Python, PowerShell/Shell, Perl, JavaScript. Experience in standardised systems configuration/installation/deploy tools - Ansible, UDeploy. Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills. AWS Cloud certifications or equivalent experience desirable.You’re not expected to have % of these skills.
