Our AT manufacturing is undergoing significant expansion, modernization and automation to meet the increasing customer demand for decades ahead, and we are growing our internal manufacturing and operations to more than 90%. In addition to owning our manufacturing capacity, we also own our process, packaging and test technology development, enabling us introduce new product designs with highest quality and efficiency.
At the Design & Manufacturing Solutions(DMS) IT organization in TI, we are investing in forward looking manufacturing solutions to deliver differentiated analog and embedded processing semiconductor products with highest quality and efficiency. Our charter involves building AT manufacturing solutions based on a compelling roadmap by investing in industry 4.0 technologies. And we are on lookout for a highly motivated AT Software Solutions Engineer to drive the next generation AT manufacturing technology through smart, connected systems. Our goal is to maximize product throughput, enabled by synergizing AT equipment, robotics, software, data analytics and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities :
Drive software development for ATE systems at Assembly & Test factories to ensure large volume product quality delivery at highest quality standards.Work with a team of software specialists to define and operationalize forward looking software solutions for test, bump and probe manufacturing systemsLead the development, and implementation of cost-effective methods of semiconductor testing tools across TI test sites to have large volume impactEmbrace Robotics, data science & AI-driven software technologies to transform current flows and manufacturing procedures.Develop/ maintain analytics tools using Spotfire, dataPower or equivalent tool based on STDF which work with AT machinery.Understand and deploying standard practices and procedures to IT solutions for test infrastructure and driving improvement to existing methodsDeveloping prototypes of advanced systems catering to sites need for automated testing of volumes of IC devicesMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field of study1+ years of relevant professional experiencePreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ ECE with solid knowledge of Computer science conceptsATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software knowledge - preferredGood understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production Ability to ramp up quickly on new systems and processesProficiency in programming/scripting in C++, Python, JavaDemonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in across geographical areas in worldAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsWhy TI?
