Summary:

Position Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the people foundation for a brand-new greenfield plant. As the Senior Manager, People & Culture you'll act as a strategic business partner, providing leadership and expertise in all aspects of people management. You'll work closely with the leadership team to establish strategic and operational directions, design the organizational structure, and build a high-performing culture from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Greenfield Plant Setup & Culture Building:

Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leadership to define the plant's talent needs, considering future growth and operational requirements. Organizational Design & Culture Development: Partner with leadership to build a high-performing team. Implement an onboarding program that fosters belonging and engagement from day one. Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company's values.

HR Programs & Processes:

Establish HR Infrastructure: Implement HR policies, processes, and systems that comply with local regulations, industry best practices, and aligned to company's overall HR framework. Talent Acquisition & Development: Manage recruitment strategy to attract top talent aligned with the plant's needs. Collaborate on the development of training and development programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles. Compensation & Benefits: Implement defined C&B strategies as per company's compensation framework to attract and retain top talent, considering local market practices and employee needs. Performance Management: Implement our company’s performance management system that aligns individual goals with organizational objectives and provides regular feedback and coaching to drive employee development. Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster positive employee relations, address concerns promptly and fairly, and implement programs to boost employee engagement and morale.

Additional Responsibilities:

Functional HR Support: Provide strategic HR guidance to other functions within the plant. Office Administration & Facilities Management: Ensure the smooth operation of office administration and facilities, including managing third-party contracts. Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate HR-related risks. Community Relations: Foster positive community partnerships, in collaboration with PACS, to ensure our operations benefit the local community and attract top talent.

Requirements:
 

Minimum 8 years of HR experience with strong business partnering skills in a large multinational organization. Proven experience in a greenfield or start-up environment is highly desirable. University degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management. Master's degree a plus. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. Strong understanding of local labor laws, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to change.
