Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Students Counselor to join our team at RM Skytech Puducherry. As a Student Support Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students, helping them overcome academic and personal challenges. This is a full-time position based in Puducherry, India, and requires a mid-level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Students Counselor, client complaints handling in an educational institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, trainers, and clients.
• Ability to create a supportive and empathetic environment for students.
• Knowledge of various counseling techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in using counseling software or tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students, assisting them in overcoming academic and personal challenges.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' needs and provide appropriate guidance.
• Develop and implement counseling programs that address students' academic, career, and personal goals.
• Assess students' strengths and weaknesses and provide feedback to help them improve.
• Collaborate with trainers and clients to create individualized plans for students' growth and success.
• Organize workshops and seminars on topics relevant to students' well-being and success.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in student counseling and apply them in daily work.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and progress reports.
• Handle all complaints related to students, trainers and clients and closed the NCR with necessary corrective and preventive actions.
