This is a uniqueopportunity to lead the design and development of scalablehighperformance backend systems ensuring the technical vision andarchitecture align with business goals. The ideal candidate willhave extensive experience in backend technologies particularly inPython with Django REST framework and FastAPI and demonstratestrong leadership and mentorshipskills.KeyResponsibilities:
  • TechnicalVision and Leadership:
  • Defineand drive the technical architecture and vision for backendsystems.
  • Lead the design and development ofscalable highavailability and securesolutions.
  • Provide technical leadership andmentorship to backend engineering teams.
  • Stayupdated with emerging technologies and industry trends to guidestrategic decisions.
  • BackendDevelopment:
  • Architect designand implement backend systems using Python Django REST frameworkand FastAPI.
  • Write and review technicalspecifications architecture documents anddiagrams.
  • Implement best practices for systemdesign and coding standards to ensure maintainable reliablecode.
  • HandsOnDevelopment:
  • Actively contributeto the codebase developing new features and fixingbugs.
  • Perform code reviews ensure code qualityand drive continuous improvement.
  • Optimizebackend systems for performance scalability andsecurity.
  • Collaboration andCommunication:
  • Work closely withproduct managers engineers and stakeholders to gather andunderstand requirements.
  • Clearly communicatetechnical concepts to both technical and nontechnicalaudiences.
  • Foster a collaborative innovativeand excellencedriven culture within the engineeringteam.
  • System Quality andPerformance:
  • Advocate for andimplement best practices in testing deployment andmonitoring.
  • Develop frameworks and tools toenhance productivity and security.
  • Ensuresystems are designed for performance reliability and security fromday one.
RequiredSkills andExperience:
  • Provenexperience as a Technical Lead orSenior Backend Engineer in aproductbased environment.
  • Strong handsonexperience in Python particularly with Django RESTframework andFastAPI.
  • Expertisein designing and building scalable highperformance backendsystems.
  • Proficient in writing technicalspecifications and architecturedocumentation.
  • Experience with containerizationtechnologies such as Docker andorchestration tools like Kubernetes isa plus.
  • Strong leadership and mentoringskills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms likeAWS Azureor Google Cloud Platform(GCP).
  • Familiarity with microservicesarchitecture and RESTful API design.
  • Solidunderstanding of CI/CD pipelinesautomated testing frameworks and DevOpspractices.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities andattention todetail.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Experiencewith microservices architecture andcontainerization.
  • Knowledge ofDevOps practices and tools withexperience in implementing CI/CDpipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms(AWS Azure GCP) andinfrastructureascode (TerraformCloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of Golang is aplus.
