About the role

Your Impact as Trainee Internal Audit

I. Purpose of the Job:

The purpose is to train the CA student for 9-12 months in duration

II. Role Description:

Activities related to Internal Audit:

Assist in planning and executing internal audit engagements under the guidance of senior Internal auditors. Perform testing of controls and review of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist in the preparation of audit reports and documentation of audit findings. Assist in development and implementation of data analytics tools and related methodology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for follow-up of audit recommendations and process improvements. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required by the Internal Audit team. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to internal audit and financial reporting.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Trainee/Article Assistant should have cleared both groups of CA intermediate/IPCC examination. Completed minimum of 18 months of practical training. Prior training in Internal Audit from Big 6/reputed domestic firm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Hand-on experience in Power BI will give added advantage to selection of candidate.
