Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Design and develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions leveraging Docker containers.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system architectures.
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and continuous integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to propose new ideas and improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience as a Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot framework.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and developing microservices architecture using Docker and container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in AWS or Docker are a plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
