Youll implement themusing the Vue.js framework adhering to generally accepted practicesand workflows. You will ensure that you produce robust securemodular and maintainable code. This role supports the team in theAgile/Scrum software development lifecycle working with businesspartners to identify requirements design and implement scalableopen solutions. The ideal candidate not only knows how to writecode but also understands how to identify and solve problemsrelated to scale security and analytics. This position requires adeep technical understanding of software development best practicescoding standards and governance.Responsibilities:
  • Workwith the UX application team to estimate complexity and advise onthe feasibility of tasks and features.
  • Createtechnical specifications based on functionalrequirements.
  • Build out features in acrossfunctional agile environment involving all functions atvarious levels throughout the feature creation and ideationprocess.
  • Perform basic support and debugging intest and production environments.
  • Maintain andrepair existing applications.
  • Act as a keycontributor in an agile sprint team performing sprints on new andexisting applications.
  • Identify and escalateproblems.
  • Develop highly secure publicfacingapplications with performance and security as apriority.
  • Develop scalable and efficient Vue.jsapplications utilizing reusable and readablecomponents.
Requirements:
  • Extensiveexpertise in JavaScript Vue.js HTML5 andCSS3.
  • Experience withTypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of frontenddevelopment principles including responsive design accessibilityand crossbrowser compatibility.
  • Provenexperience in writing unit tests using Jest or similar testingframeworks.
  • Knowledge of version controlsystems (e.g. Git) and agile developmentmethodologies.
  • Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills.
  • Sound knowledge of RESTfulAPI principles.
  • Strong communication andcollaboration abilities with the capacity to work effectively in ateam environment.
PreferredQualifications (notrequired):
  • Familiaritywith Sass Vuex Vue Router andNuxt.js.
  • Experience withTypeScript.
  • Experience in buildingmobileresponsive web applications.
  • Experienceworking in digital mediabasedenvironments.
