About the location:

Open since May 2019, in the information technology capital of India, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travellers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. Designed to reflect a sense of its location, the Hotel’s design merges nature and architecture in an homage to Bengaluru’s reputation as the Garden City. Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE is located in one of the city’s most dynamic development that includes Four Seasons Private Residences, premium grade office space, sophisticated retail, dining and entertainment.

About the role:

The Chef De Partieis responsible for supervising and overseeing the preparation of food items for guest orders ensuring consistent quality. This role requires a special talent and passion for ensuring the culinary team delivers the highest of culinary consistently, and ensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience. This role is part of the Kitchen Department, reporting into the Sous Chef. 

What you will do : 

Supervise the kitchen brigade to ensure the smooth running of the department; communicate effectively with staff and ensure they are fully briefed at all times.

Control the quality and presentation standards of various outlets and the Staff Restaurant.

Supervise and carry out refresher training on an on-going basis. To ensure Kitchen morale is high and teamwork is evident at all times

Supervise and maintain standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and ensure all members of the kitchen brigade follow the proper Health and Hygiene practices as laid down in the Health and Safety regulations of the Hotel.

Ensure that regular knife drill and equipment training is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety standards.

What you bring :

College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required.

Five to seven years’ previous experience in chinese cuisine, designing and creating menus.

Requires the ability to operate and utilize culinary production equipment and tools.

Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
