As an SDN Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our SDN and network automation solutions. You will leverage your expertise in automation, programming, and network DevOps tools to test and validate network applications, APIs, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network automation, programming with Python and Java, and experience with network DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans for SDN and network automation solutions.

Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and other programming languages.

Utilize network DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Jenkins to support testing and automation processes.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate and test network applications and APIs.

Test and validate network applications integration with LDAP, Radius, and other network services.

Work with Itential IAP builds and NSO (Network Services Orchestrator) for testing and validation.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.

Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks.

Document test cases, test results, and defect reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of network automation and SDN concepts.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.

Experience with network DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins.

Hands-on experience with Itential IAP builds is a plus.

Familiarity with network applications integration (, LDAP, Radius).

Knowledge of API testing and automation frameworks.

Experience with NSO (Network Services Orchestrator) is advantageous.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in network automation or DevOps tools.

Prior experience in a similar SDN testing or network automation role.
