Primary Responsibilities:
  • Test Qualify and validatethe firmware releases on the actual hardware solutions owned by theEmbedded Systems group
  • Be able to assess thenature of the test failures FW SW or HW. Provide feedback to theteam on test results
  • Help define the hardwareplatform for testing
  • Own the entire pipeline ofFW and integration testing
  • Maintain and improveexisting regression test suites
  • Design andarchitect overall test automationinfrastructure
  • Validate features usingdifferent test methodologies white and black boxtesting
  • The position requires excellent softskills to be part of a cross functional team excellent written& oral communication and presentationskills.

MandatorySkills:
  • Minimum of 5years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; or 3 yearsand a Master s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalentwork experience.
  • Good knowledge of integrationtesting of hardware and firmware for Embedded Systems.
  • Experience with various lab equipmentOscilloscopes Function Generators DMMsetc.
  • Experience in design andAutomation testing for EmbeddedDevices
  • Codingexperience in a highlevel language C C andPython
  • Exposure to Linuxinternals

DesirableSkills:
  • Experiencearchitecting and building hardware infrastructure for testing ispreferred.
  • Embedded Systems experience workingon Ether CAT protocol ispreferred
  • Understanding of CI/CD environmentusing Jenkins ispreferred
