A key responsibility of this positionis the rapid Development of Factory Test Plans for EngineerToOrdermodels Support to Contract Manufacturing and their flawlessdeployment to multiple Plants around theWorld.

Positionis Responsible for Functional Test (PCBA electronics) and FactoryTest (finished goods products) activities in the rack powerdistribution unit (rPDU) line of business. From Project inceptionto Final Signoff the Test Development Software Engineer is involvedwith the planning and execution of Test Development activities thatensure the delivery of quality rack PDU products from severalmanufacturing locations around theWorld.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Timelyexecution of New Product Development (NPDI) and sustaining TestEngineering activities including Design For Testability (DFT)Analysis.
  • PrepareScope of Work to Quote Test Fixtures at PCBA and Final Assemblywith FixtureSuppliers.
  • PrepareScope of Work to Quote Functional Test Program Development andIntegration of PCBA and Final Assembly Fixtures with FixtureSuppliers.
  • Collaboratewith Project Management office and industrialization ProjectLeaders to determine timelines costs testing cycle times and otherPlanningMetrics.
  • Planand communicate Timelines and Requirements for NewFirmware/Software Deployments to Plants and ContractManufacturers.
  • FacilitateFunctional Test Fixture Definition and Deployment to contractManufacturers including Test Instructions Facility requirementsCalibration schedules Preventative Maintenance tasks and SpareParts.
  • ProvideTest Plan support to rack PDU Business for New Product Developmentand CustomProducts.
  • ContinuouslyImprove Testing Cycle Times and Test record reportingmechanisms.
  • Composeand review Engineering ChangeOrders.
  • Setindividual Goals and provide ongoing status updates. Executeidentified Developmental Tasks andTraining.
  • EnsureExecution of Administrative tasks (timekeeping trainingetc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BachelorsDegree in Software Engineering Computer Science or ElectronicsElectrical Engineering accompanied by relevant Software DevelopmentExperience.
  • 5years of programming experience. C# and Visual Studio.NETFramework.
  • SQLdatabase experiencepreferred.
  • Familiaritywith JSON andXML.
  • Javaand Javascript programming are aplus.
  • NationalInstruments and/or LabVIEW Certification is aplus.
  • FunctionalTest at PCBA and Final Assembly Testexperience.
  • FunctionalTest Fixturing Support at PCBA and Final Assemblyexperience.
  • Excellentcommunications skills both written andverbal.
  • Experienceworkingwith CrossFunctionalGroups inMultiple GeographicLocations.
