Synopsis:

A content writer creates written content for websites, publications, and other media to engage readers and effectively convey a company's message. They are versatile writers who can leverage various style guides to write content like blog posts, social media posts, and email marketing campaigns. 

Required Skills and qualifications:

  • Exceptional written communication skills 
  • Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines 
  • Creative and strategic-thinking skills 
  • Proficiency in web-based research and SEO best practices 
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field 
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of content management systems 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
