4 Proactively maintain and develop all Linuxinfrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptimeservice
5 Engineering of systems administrationrelatedsolutions for various project and operational needs
6Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across allenvironments
7 Fault finding analysis and of logginginformation for reporting of performance exceptions
8Proactively monitoring system performance and capacityplanning
9 Manage coordinate and implement softwareupgrades patches hot fixes on servers workstations and networkhardware
10 Familiarity with SAN management andconcepts
11 Redhat cluster preferred if not it can be anyother clusters experience
12 Strong knowledge of InternetProtocol Suite and layers
13 Advanced experience with DNSLDAP NTP SMTP SNMP SSH
14 Experience with LVMRAID
15 Support and plan system backups and data recoverystrategies
16 Oncall rotation for afterhours support andscheduled maintenance
17 Strong problem solving andcommunication skills
18 Provide technical support for bothhardware and software issues that may arise
19 Should befamiliar with ITIL processes and change management problemmanagement
20 Apply operating system patches and upgradeson a regular basis upgrade administrative tools andutilities
21 Configureadd new services asnecessary
22 Maintain operational configurations andprocedures
