Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to enhance our test coverage and capability. You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, writing test cases, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
  • Writing automation test scripts and incorporating them into the DevOps pipeline.
  • Writing test cases to constantly increase test coverage across the systems.
  • Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
  • Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
  • Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the software quality control and assurance field.
  • 2+ years in API test automation
  • Should have prior experience using popular test management and defect management tools such as Jira, Confluence etc.
  • Should be able to create test cases, test plans, use cases, Requirement traceability matrix, and defect reports.
  • Fair knowledge of and experience in programming in PHP/Golang or any other language.
  • Fair knowledge of and experience in Database Management systems (SQL & NoSQL)
  • Must have experience using PHPUnit, Selenium, JMeter
  • Must have experience in Financial Services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with, coach and mentor junior QA/QC Engineers.
