We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AI Markets - AVP

Principal responsibilities

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software components, modules, and services that power AI-driven features within the AI Markets platform, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. Algorithm Integration: Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to integrate AI algorithms, machine learning models, and NLP techniques into Java-based applications, leveraging appropriate libraries, frameworks, and APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans. Follow best practices and coding standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues reported by users. Stay up to date with developments in Generative AI, trends in Java Development, and propose solutions to improve current products. Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

Ideally Bachelors in Engineering. Proficiency in Java and related technologies. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns and development methodologies. Familiarity with database query languages like Q/KDB, SQL. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Previous experience in finance industry, Java Development is preferred. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with the latest advancements in Java technologies, AI/ML frameworks, and industry best practices.
