KeyResponsibilities:
PeopleManagement
- Establishand maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with alldepartments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation productivitymorale and guest service.
- Interact with guestsand personnel of the hotel in an efficient and friendlymanner.

OperationalManagement
Administration:
- Dailyclosing stock of mini bar store
- Prepare storerequisitions and draw items for generalstore
- To update pending maintenancelist
- To monitor the performance ofdesk
- Responsible for the operation ofdepartment in the absence of the EHK /AEHK.
- Maintain the housekeeping store and stockrecord by constant updating of receipts andissues
- To ensure items are ordered before theyreach the defined reorder level.
- Responsiblefor the periodical physical Inventory of items in store andcirculation Uniform linen guest supplies cleaning suppliesOperational equipments and capitalequipments
Linenand uniformroom:
- Routinechecks on the condition of the linen and uniform and the quality ofprocessing
- Assign job totailor
- Inventory control of linen and uniformby conducting month end inventory
- Quality auditreplacing worn out items with new ones from store and regulardiscards
- Issue of uniforms for newstaff
- Strictly adhere to exchangeprocedure and loan procedures
- Submit requiredreports to EHK
- Ensure laundry linen and uniformroom are pest free
- Ensures all maintenance arereported on time to engineering department and timely action istaken
Guestfloors:
- Routinechecks on the floor staff condition of the linen and uniformsupplies equipments and trolleys
- Responsiblefor providing hygienically clean safe and comfortable rooms witheffective amenities and mini bar by checking all rooms criticallyand inspecting them
- Plan for PMPschedule
- Check occupancy reports and follow upwith concerned personnel on thorough cleaning conducted and statusof under repair rooms
- To ensure availability ofrooms at all times based on arrivaldeparture pattern of the hotelby clearing departure rooms on priority and avoiding major breakdown in rooms by regular preventing maintenanceprogramme.
- Responsible for the activities ofall floor staff and housekeeping attendants under herjurisdiction
- Responsible for cleanliness upkeepand maintenance of all areas pantries trolleys shafts corridorselevator landings staircases etc
- Responsiblefor smooth operation of the shift by ensuring all equipments are ingood working condition and sufficient quantity of linen and guestand cleaning supplies are provided tostaff
- Reporting defects in all areas andregular follow up with engineering department on pendingmaintenance
- Reporting irregularities on thefloor to EHK Occupancy reports damages missing items Lost and foundproperties of guests.
- Responsible for effectivemini bar management as per organizations standards by checking andreplenish mini bar and produce dockets forposting
- Optimizes work productivity byeffectively scheduling and allocating all available resources andrecommends changes in methods equipment design staff to EHK inorder to improve departmental standards/productivity and ensuresimplementation of thesame

Stafftraining:
- Ensuresdepartmental employees are fully trained conduct regular trainingsessions personally through class room and on the jobtraining
- Ensures attendance on behavioral andvocational training in own and related areas to enhance kills andencourage multi functionality
- Ensures careerdevelopment and succession planning forsubordinates
- Review the performance of directsubordinates and determine their development needs by using theappraisal system
- Counsel subordinates in workrelated matters
- Recommends hiring promotionsincrements disciplinary action performance related salaryincrements for all subordinates
- Ensuredepartment employees are fully trained on all hotel systemsprocedures to ensure safetyrequirements
Hygiene/ Personal safety /Environment:
