Description

& Requirements

Partners with the Global Internal Controls team on the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of internal controls activities to improve processes periodically. 

Responsible for implementation and evaluation of process changes or a portion of an initiativewith moderate complexity.

Engage with cross-functional team to leverage strategy, scaled capabilities and drive consistency across the team where possible

Builds the business case for making a change to current practices, programs, or procedures.

Maintain materials and records appropriately. Develop, implement, and maintain a system of measurement to validate effectiveness of programs that support internal controls team development and growth

Develops, updates, and analyzes metrics used to determine operational performanceor other measures deemed valuable to the global internal controls team.

Work closely with internal stakeholders on identifying and implementing new and continued training and development needs

Supporting the accurate and timely production of primary stakeholder reports (including Executive and Non-executive management)and manage the key stakeholder feedback process and consolidating results.

Identifies issues and opportunities for continuous improvement that demonstrate insightful analysis and sound judgment

Support and drive the development, implementation, and execution of strategic and business plans

Support the implementation, development, and use of practice management tools

Qualifications:

BA/BS/BSc (or equivalent) in Accounting or Business (or similar field) desirable

Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Substantial internal audit/controls experience (or similar, e.g., risk management) preferred, in an audit or control function.

Strong knowledge of internal controls practices and techniques.

Demonstrated leadership in managing people and projects and ability to develop and maintain relationships with personnel on all levels.

Experience with effective interaction with members of senior management.

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex and technical issues in a concise and easy to understand style.

Experience of quality assurance and ability to effectively challenge peers on quality of audit work.

Experience of defining and delivering training through a variety of techniques and methods.
