JobDescription:

Thisposition will play a primary role in planning implementing leadingand executing all aspects of Quality and Testing. The role requireshandson QA expertise ability to take initiative and develop andevolve QA processes. The right candidate will be able to analyzethe products to determine what to test the priority of those testsand the best way to test. You should understand the requirementsand design test procedures and test cases for automated softwaretesting.


Responsibilities:

  • Establishand evolve formal QA/testing practices test processes methodologystandards and hygiene for agile developmentefforts.
  • Leadand mentor QA team members. Lead Defect Management & TestManagement activities for the product portfolio atDE.
  • Leadthe QA strategy test design /plan test automation and drive testexecution working closely with product development teams to buildrobust enterprise Cloud readyproducts.
  • Overseeall aspects of quality assurance including establishing metricsapplying industry best practices and developing new tools andprocesses to ensure quality standards aremet.
  • Developthe strategy and enablement End to End functional verification& validation testing including test coverage foroperational requirements (Performance testing Load Testing etc)
  • Respondto all requests from team members in a timely and professionalmanner.
  • Designautomated test scripts that are repeatable whereverpossible.
  • Developeffective communication channels to clearly articulate issues andwork collaboratively with development teams to resolvethem.
  • CaptureKPI & other QA metrics regularly and use them to assess theproduct quality & process effectiveness. Provide regularinsight & reports to all the project stake holders.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • 710years of proven industrial experience leading the endtoend QAactivities for productdevelopment.
  • HandsOnexperience in the development of Automated test scripts Testexecution using Selenium Java Web Driver for testing API componentsincludingMicroservices.
  • HandsOnexperience in the development of Automated test scripts testexecution using Selenium for testing front end functionality builtusing React JS AngularJS
  • Understandingof existing QA best practices and methodologies to design implementand automateprocesses.
  • Shouldbe well versed with any of the industry standard test managementtools like QC Test Rail QTP etc
  • Demonstratedexperience developing and executing test cases scripts plans andprocedures to support various developmentmethodologies.
  • Understandingof multitier web application architecture and deployment on theCloud
  • Workingknowledge DevOps and testing software in a containerizedenvironment isplus.
  • Priorsuccess using a metricsdriven approach and closedloop feedback toimprove software deliverables and improve predictability andreliability ofreleases.
  • Detailedand effective written communication skills for documenting thefeatures tested and bugsfound.
  • Selfmotivatedworks well independently and withothers.
