Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher for our Udupi location. This is a full-time, junior-level position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Montessori Methodology, NTT, and B.ed. The role requires a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the academic and personal growth of our young learners.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Montessori Methodology (Mandatory skill)
  • Certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) (Mandatory skill)
  • Bachelor of Education (B.ed) (Mandatory skill)
  • A strong understanding of child development principles
  • Effective classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment
  • Ability to plan and implement individualized learning plans for students
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Experience in curriculum planning and development to ensure a comprehensive educational experience


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement Montessori curriculum and activities to foster a stimulating learning environment
  • Observe and assess students to identify their individual learning needs and tailor teaching methods accordingly
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Develop and execute lesson plans that cater to the academic and personal growth of each student
  • Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and engagement
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
