Our multinationalclient in the shipping industry is expanding its operations. ComaeaConsulting is assisting in the search for an experienced MarineSuperintendent to support this growth strategy.

(Basedin Mumbai India)

ORGANIZATION:

Reporting tothe Fleet Director you will be a key member in the ashore teamincharge of managing the operations and performance of vesselsassigned. Your key role is to ensure efficient and safe operationsof the company s vessels quality management and that allinternational marine requirements are adhered.

YOURRESPONSIBILITIES:

Providingsupport to the vessel to ensure safety of the cargo navigation andother marine operationalmatters.

Planning andallocation of resources setting processes implementing improvementplans in a rigorous and structured way for planned and routinemaintenance of the ships under yourcharge.

Oversee holdcleaning operations ballasting and deballasting in accordance withapplicable rules andregulations.

Monitor weatherand route planning to ensure safe and efficientoperations.

Develop andimplement voyage plans to maximize cargo capacity and minimize fuelconsumption.

Coordinate withvessel crews and shorebased teams to ensure smoothoperations.

Conduct regularinspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policiesand industryregulations.

Providetechnical support and guidance to vessel crews asneeded.

Manage budgeting and costcontrol for assigned vessels.



Requirements

Degree ordiploma in Navigation Marine Engineering or relatedfield.

Minimum2 years experience as Marine Superintendent managing Operations orHSEQ for Bulk Carriers

Atleast six months of sailing experience as Master on BulkCarriers.

Proficient inShipboard ISM/ISPS code Marine insurance andSeamanship.

Strongleadership skills with a focus on teamdevelopment.

Business acumenand budget managementcapability.

Excellentcommunication organization and multitaskingabilities.

Uptodateknowledge of regulatory requirements andimplementation.
