Primary Responsibilities:

Provide database administration for mission-critical custom and packaged software applications Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications - Enterprise Rapid RecoveryUphold enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new/improved guidelinesPartner with project teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed databasesAct as business liaison serving as primary point of contact between application business segments and database administratorsDemonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the basic database management skills of database administration, Web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysisProvide standardization and consistency across environmentsEnsure a stable and secure database environmentApply database management consulting skills and gathers user requirementsImplement and monitor database functionality to ensure stable environmentsIdentify and initiate resolutions to user problems and concerns associated with database server equipment (hardware and software)Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience5+years - Oracle DBA experience3++years - Unix Shell Scripting experience3++years - PL/SQL Scripting experience3+ years of experience in supporting on-call challenges

Technical Skills:

Good Experience in Oracle Performance tuning and good understanding of SQLsAbility to create and maintains all databases required for development, testing, education, and production usageGood Knowledge on 11g,12c and 19c Oracle ConceptsGood Knowledge in PDB/CDB conceptsGood Experience on Oracle Performance tuning and good understanding of SQLsSolid knowledge on Oracle RAC administration.Solid Knowledge on Installations, Up-gradation, Patching including RACExpertise in Backups and Recovery conceptsSolid experience in deploying, configuring Oracle RAC on Linux platform, Support Dev, QA and Staging database environments, troubleshoot system and database issues as they arise ASM RAC Installation, patching and good knowledge in the SQL tuning and Database tuning areasA Good Knowledge on Oracle Golden GateSound Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and Database Migration methodsKnowledge on Exadata and Shell ScriptingKnowledge on Oracle GRID and GGKnowledge on Capacity PlanningKnowledge in Upgrades, Patching and Migration activitiesProven good skills in all Oracle tools
