Chef de Partie Duties andResponsibilities: - Takes care ofdaily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meetthe standard and quality set by the Restaurant.
- Follows the instructions and recommendations from theimmediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
- Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
- Responsible for supervising junior chefs orcommis.
- Able to estimate the daily productionneeds and check the quality of raw and cooked food products toensure that standards are met.
- Ensure that theproduction preparation and presentation of food are of the highestquality at all times.
- Ensure the highestlevels of guest satisfaction quality operating and food costs on anongoing basis.
- Knowledge of all standardprocedures and policies about food preparation receiving storageand sanitation.
- Full awareness of all menuitems their recipes methods of production and presentationstandards.
