We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Client Processing II to join our Market Ops – Pershing Support team. This role is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu –HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Providing middle office and operational support for fixed income, structured products and preferred securities
  • Support Trade life cycle
  • Facilitate trade flow process & trade settlement
  • Investigate and resolve fails
  • Serve as liaison between clearing broker and counterparty in effort to efficiently resolve external settlement/clearing
  • Actively research/resolve trade discrepancies
  • Monitor trade status reports
  • Delivering quality client service and daily support to internal and external clients, including phone and email interaction, transaction processing, trade comparison and account reconciliation. 
  • Benefits: In this role you will gain general knowledge of the industry landscape of financial services and subject matter expertise in trade clearance and settlement. You will build a network of peers within Pershing and BNYM, and gain experience working directly with our clients and industry partners.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education experience is required.
  • 5+ years of total work experience in brokerage processing preferred.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Effective communication skills
  • A desire to collaborate, problem solve and seek innovative ways to improve processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of DTC/Euroclear, Bloomberg, ICELink, ALERT/CTM a plus
