 Job Purpose:

Lead SAP for the Global Pulp & Fibre organization responsible for the application, hardware/cloud and security environment including defining and implementing the strategic vision and roadmap, establishing and implementing operational processes and procedures, including budget management and oversight, and working closely with key business stakeholders and external partners to effectively execute the strategy. 

Responsible for data governance, data quality and data management, along with the exploitation of data assets to create business value from the SAP platform. 

As SAP Head for a global business, owns executive-level relationships and serves as a point of focus, and shapes business demand into supply.

 Job Context & Major Challenges:

Establish and lead the organization for all SAP applications that span across multiple regions across the globe.

Interface with functional and unit teams to develop a vision and strategy for effective use of SAP applications.

Manage all aspects of the application portfolio: design, development, project management, budget management, contractor and vendor management, technology refresh, piloting and the strategic roadmap. 

Provide all processes associated with SAP management including: change control, licensing, maintenance, quarterly release cycles, break/fix, enhancement requests and new functionality.

Build and support the SAP platform for Pulp & Fibre, delivering on-time and on-budget solutions, lead the design, development and testing of all IT components and lead, coach and mentor team members.

Develop and manage the governance and process to run SAP, lead the prioritization of all requests for enhancements, new projects, reporting, and integrations related to the global setup and associated bolt-on applications.

Develop the IT team, skills and team working, develop sourcing model with global partner(s), and develop proper service management (SLA, KPI, costs tracking).

Fulfil role as SAP technology leader for Pulp & Fibre: setting the architectural design, assuring innovation and flexibility, developing application lifecycle management roadmap and strategy for integrating global applications into the overall architecture.

Stimulating, surfacing, and shaping demand for capabilities and assets, in addition to ensuring that the potential business value from those capabilities and assets are captured, optimized, and recognized.

 Lead SAP S/4 HANA strategy and roadmap from design through deployment

Create and implement the strategy for the deployment of SAP S/4 HANA technologies  Support transformative business models, improve processes, eliminate complexity, and deliver best-in-class soutions  Identify and implement areas of process improvement to improve business performance, and optimize cost 

 Deliver and manage SAP application operations and reliability

Develop and operate effective organization with design, deployment, training, support, systems monitoring, service and outsourcing partner management Develop and utilize new processes and/or strategies to improve adoption of SAP technology to make the business more efficient and effective Provide technical support in the diagnostics and resolution of high criticality problems as required. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure operational acceptance of new services and technologies Lead in continuous improvement of services and their associated technology and support processes across the user community Drive disaster recovery planning, execution and validate capability to support Business Continuity 

 Oversee and drive SAP application projects

Provide project management for all phases of projects and initiatives Project Conception & Initiation Project Definition & Planning Project Launch & Execution Project Performance & Control Coordinate the use of external and internal resources involved in the infrastructure services and operations, interviewing, negotiating contracts and fees, and managing resources. Communicate programs and status to range of stakeholders

 Budget Control

- Prepare annual budgets for SAP operations – software, hardware/cloud, security, consumables, etc. Monitor purchases against budget. Take corrective action.
