Our R&D division is growingglobally and we are looking for an experienced Embedded Manager tojoin our dynamic team at the new R&Dsite in Bangalore India.

As theEmbedded Manager you will lead a teamof talented embedded engineers in designing developing andimplementing advanced power electronic control systems. With yourextensive experience in Firmware Development and people managementyou will play a critical role in our projects ensuring they meetthe highest standards of quality efficiency andinnovation.

What will you bedoing

  • Lead the designand development of embedded systems and firmware for SolarEdgespower products including inverters power optimizers energy storagesolutions and communication interfaces.
  • Strongleadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team ofengineers providing technical guidance and leadership to ensureproject goals are met.
  • Excellent projectmanagement skills with experience managing complex projects acrossmultidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including hardware engineers softwaredevelopers and product managers to define system requirements andarchitect innovative embeddedsolutions.
  • Develop and implement efficient andreliable embedded software in C/C for various microcontrollers andprocessors used in SolarEdge products.
  • Conductthorough testing and verification of embedded software to ensureits functionality performance and compliance with qualitystandards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug embeddedsoftware and hardware interactions identifying and resolving issuesthroughout the product developmentlifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviewsproviding constructive feedback to team members and ensuring codequality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stayabreast of industry trends and advancements in embedded systems topropose and integrate cuttingedge technologies into SolarEdgesproducts.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing andvalidation teams to support the production and testing of embeddedsystems during the manufacturingprocess.
  • Support the certification process byproviding necessary documentation and technical inputs to complywith relevant safety and regulatorystandards.
  • Strong leadership skills with theability to mentor and motivate a team ofengineers.
  • Excellent project management skillswith experience managing complex projects across multidisciplinaryteams.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors (B.E./B.Tech.) ormaster s degree (M.E./M.Tech.) or PhD in Electrical/ElectronicsEngineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of15 years of experience in embeddedsystems and firmware development power electronics with atleast 5 years in a leadership ormanagement role.
  • Proficiency in programminglanguages such as C and C with handson experience in realtimeoperating systems (RTOS) and baremetaldevelopment.
  • Strong understanding ofmicrocontrollers microprocessors and embedded systemarchitectures.
  • Hand on experience withMicroprocessors such as TI DSP Controllers ST Renesasetc.
  • Experience with advanced SW control commonmethods such as SIL/HIL
  • Experience with testautomation.
  • Experience with PLECS/ Typhoon HIL is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of RTOS concepts isdesirable.
  • Ability to identify troubleshoothardware and software technicalproblems.
  • Working knowledge on the protocolsand devices driver for SPI I2C UARTCAN
  • Designand implement control algorithms fordigital control of power electronics systems such asDC/DC converters andDC/AC Inverters operating at highswitching frequency.
  • Strongknowledge and proven experience in developing controlalgorithms for Power electronicsconverters/Inverters.
  • Experience developingdevice drivers and execute a tight interrupt loop in bare metalimplementation.
  • Experience inoptimizing firmware algorithms to enhance systemefficiency andreliability.
  • Working knowledgein using JTAG/SWD debugger.
  • Experience in boardbringup peripheral integration and device driverdevelopment.
  • Strong debugging andproblemsolving skills with a track record of delivering robust andreliable embedded software.
  • Knowledge ofsoftware development tools version control systems and debuggingtools for embedded systems.
  • Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively withcrossfunctional teams.
  • Experience in therenewable energy or power electronics industry is an addedadvantage.
  • Provide technical support andtroubleshooting assistance during product development. Stay up todate with the latest advancements in power electronics and firmwaretechnologies.
  • Drive results within constraintsof Product life cycle development and production atscale.
