Job Summary
The Sr. Technical Program Manager to manage implementation and drive execution of our technical strategy for Comcast. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of and experience with core technical concepts, and the ability to develop collaborative relationships with various stakeholders to lead large cross-functional teams and align on complex solutions across our global footprint.Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of technical programs to align with our Comcast Strategy, organizing programs and activities with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Ensure integration of programs and adjust scope and timing as needed based on the strategic needs of the business. May also coordinate with multiple project managers, engineering managers, and product owners to assemble the overall program plan.
- Communicate updates on major milestones and keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Identify and manage proposed changes to technical program parameters.
- Understand the scope of technical programs as defined by the requirements and budget. Use specific knowledge about one or more technical areas to research, plan, communicate, and achieve objectives.
- Identify, define, and establish metrics for measuring the effectiveness and success of technical programs.
- Build program plans and program records. Work with the core team to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path tasks.
- Analyze areas of risk to avoid risky activities by identifying and managing risk areas. Establish contingency plans and identify trigger events, assuming responsibility for initiating corrective actions. Escalate early to appropriate levels.

- Agile Experience: Be familiar with and have experience in Agile/Lean Development environments using Jira.
- Background: Preferably have a background in product development, technology, or scalable programs in the mobile app development space.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.

- You have 5+ years of experience designing, driving, and delivering technical programs and initiatives in a corporate environment.
- You have a high degree of technical understanding of our technical platform, working alongside a team of architects, engineers, product managers, and QA engineers to manage the various work streams and deliverables.
