JobResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for test case design test execution test datapreparation test automation and defect reporting to ensure coverageand quality
  • Build cutting edge test frameworksusing latest technologies and/or enhance existing design
  • Execute the suite of functional and regression test caseson simulated and real test infrastructure
  • Contribute actively to development of testingtools/utilities on need basis
  • Performautomation code reviews and enable enhanced code quality
  • Interact with crossfunctional team members to develop andrefine test strategy and effort estimation
  • Adherence to committed milestones and agreed scope ofbuilds/releases by completing the assigned activities as plannedproactively highlighting dependencies & risks for assignedactivities
  • Ensure complete test coverage of SWchanges/scope
  • Drive reviews with quality teamand ensure closure of all comments/gaps/noncompliances
  • Review test artifacts and drive improvements inV&V efficiency across workstreams
  • Communicate test results and defect reports tostakeholders periodically
  • Adhere to agreedagile/scrum practices deliverables and ceremonies and usage of JIRAon a daily basis
  • Conduct trainings and provideassistance to junior test engineers as needed
  • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems and possessthe ability to think abstractly


Qualifications:

  • 35 years of experience in software testingwith minimum of 3 years as a senior SDET / Automationlead
  • Proficient in testing methodologiesprocesses tools and techniques
  • Solidprogramming skills in C/C/Java/Python
  • Workingknowledge of automation tools such as SquishTestComplete
  • Deep expertise in building testautomation frameworks for embedded software
  • Experience working with simulated test beds and medicaldevices
  • Possess superior debugging skills todiscover causes of test failures and environment issues
  • Good understanding of TDD/BDD methodologies
  • Well versed with healthcare processes and bestpractices
  • Sound in technicaldocumentation
  • Familiarity with Git/GerritJenkins and Linux OS
  • Experience working inagile model and good knowledge of JIRA
  • Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills
  • Quicklearner and selfstarter able to work on multiple simultaneous taskswith limited supervision
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
  • Goodunderstanding of regulatory standards such as ISO13485IEC62304

Background/Experience:Bachelors in Computer Science/Software Engineering/InformationTechnology or a related specialization with 35 years of relatedwork experienceHands on experience in AutomationTesting Seleniumexperience in C# / Java / PythonDomain: MedicalDevice Embedded Devices Infotainment AutomotiveAerospace.
