Description

• • Responsible for using analysistechniques to evaluate the properties of a materials components orsystems without causing damage.
  • UtilizeNonDestructive inspection methods (liquid penetrant magneticparticle thermography shearography eddy current ultrasonicradiography) to verify parts and processes are in compliance withcustomer engineering requirements.
  • Setup andstandardize NDI equipment process parts interpret and evaluate foracceptance or rejection and document results. Establish techniquesfrom approved general procedure or work instructions for finalapproval. Conduct system performance checks in accordance withapplicable process standards.
  • Providenecessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees. Perform auditsurveillance on nondestructive inspection processes and initiateand document any nonconformances according to specification processand procedures.
  • Interpret codes standards andother contractual documents that control NDT methods. Assumetechnical responsibility for the NDT facility equipment and staff.Prepare verify and approve procedures and work instruction fortechnical adequacy. Provide training examination and certificationof personnel.
  • Perform audit surveillance onnondestructive inspection processes and initiate and document anynonconformances according to specification process andprocedures.

Requirements:

• • These will be working solely onUltrasonic Testing (AScan and Thickness)
  • MUSTalready have NAS410 Certification and proof of UT hours (Signed offby a Level III NDI)
  • Must have level I andLevel II training (proofs) plus an additional 800hrs. of UltrasonicTesting
  • Experience with Graphite Composites inrelation to Aerospace
  • Need professionals readyto complete a General Exam on day 1 and Specific and Practical examfirst week of hire
