Overview:The QAAutomation Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the qualityand reliability of our software products. They are responsible fordesigning implementing and executing automated test scripts as wellas identifying and reporting defects. This role is essential inmaintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in oursoftware development process.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop andmaintain automation test scripts for web and mobileapplications
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to define test scenarios and acceptancecriteria
  • Execute automated test suites andanalyze results
  • Identify record and trackdefects to resolution
  • Contribute to thecontinuous improvement of automated testing processes andframeworks
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies andprovide testing insights
  • Integrate testautomation into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Conduct APItesting and validate system integration
  • Performcode reviews and contribute to improving codingstandards
  • Provide accurate and timely reportingof test status and quality metrics
  • Stay updatedwith industry best practices and emerging technologies in QAautomation
  • Collaborate with manual testers tooptimize testing efforts
  • Support the creationand maintenance of test data andenvironments
  • Contribute to the development andexecution of performance and loadtesting
  • Assist in troubleshooting andreproducing issues in differentenvironments
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or relatedfield
  • Proven experience in automation testingand Selenium WebDriver
  • Deep understanding ofCI/CD practices and principles
  • Proficiency inAgile methodologies
  • Strong scripting andprogramming skills particularly inJava
  • Thorough knowledge of quality assuranceprinciples and techniques
  • Experience in APItesting and validation
  • Familiarity with testingtools and frameworks such as JUnit TestNG orCucumber
  • Ability to collaborate effectively ina team environment
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving abilities
  • Solid understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle and testingmethodologies
  • Good communication anddocumentation skills
  • Ability to work in afastpaced and dynamicenvironment
  • Certifications in software testingor test automation is a plus
  • Experience withperformance and load testing tools isdesirable
