Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Officer - Engineering & Maintenance to join our team at Ray Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. As an Officer - Engineering & Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art injectable manufacturing facility in Hubli, India. This is a full-time position with a junior level experience requirement of 1 to 3 years.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
• 1-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and techniques
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of spare parts and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facilities
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
• Document maintenance activities and maintain records
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills
