Design Engineer shall workwith a team of Draughts persons PEMs to carry out activities as perthe Engineering Plan aligned with the project and deliver onschedule and budget
Key Responsibilities:
Shall be responsible for collecting all inputs to carry out thedesign activities that are under his area of work.
Mustbe capable of reading the Technical specification and able toidentify the different clauses related to Tower Design andFoundation Design.
Review and ensure optimum designbefore submission to client.
Ensure quantity control& optimization of civil & structural quantities
Interact with project execution team for resolving theproblem.
Witness Tower Testing at Different testBeds
Prepare BOQ and design documents which are requiredat pre Tender stage.
Post award of Job Submission andget approval for all design related documents fromClient.
Maintain all the Engineering Documents as perISO norms set by the management.
TechnicalExpertise:
Technical Expertise in activities of RouteSelection Profiles Sag Tension Charts design of Transmission Linetowers foundations gantry structures. Design Engineer shall be ableto review design the detailed drawings for TL towers. Shall be ableto design all types of foundations (pad & Chimney/ IsolatedFoundation Combined Foundation pile foundations etc). Should beaware of design calculations as per codes of domestic &international codes. Should have knowledge on selecting the TestLoad cases for Towers. Able to prepare Stringing Chart for site.Conversant with Indian Standards and international standards likeBS UBC ACI ASCE related for TL and Foundation design.
