Job Description

Position Overview:
As the Power Platform Team Lead in Digital Tools team, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-related initiatives and solutions within our team’s Power Platform environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of data-centric applications and processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools, with a primary focus on Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Your expertise in data management, integration, and visualization will contribute to the team’s ability to make informed decisions, streamline operations, and maximize the value derived from data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy and Governance:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, policies, and best practices for the Power Platform ecosystem. Ensure compliance with data governance standards, data quality measures, and security protocols. Drive the adoption of data governance principles and educate stakeholders on data-related guidelines.

Data Modeling and Integration:

Design and develop efficient data models and structures that support business processes and reporting requirements. Implement data integration solutions between various data sources and Power Platform tools to ensure seamless data flow. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

Power BI Reporting and Visualization:

Develop insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs, identify key metrics, and create compelling visualizations. Establish and maintain data refresh schedules to ensure up-to-date reporting and analytics.

Power Apps Development:

Lead the creation of user-friendly, efficient, and scalable Power Apps solutions that facilitate data capture, manipulation, and retrieval. Work closely with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into functional Power Apps applications. Optimize Power Apps performance and maintain application lifecycle management practices.

Process Automation:

Leverage Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks, data workflows, and approval processes to enhance operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions that drive productivity gains.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead a team of data professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to align Power Platform initiatives with broader data and technology strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 12-15 years of experience in data management, including data modeling, integration, ETL processes 5+ years of experience in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI. PowerApps and Power Automate) Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate). Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and manipulation. Familiarity with data governance principles and compliance frameworks. Experience with Azure services and cloud-based data solutions is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex data-related challenges and devise effective solutions. Project management experience, including scope definition, timeline management, and resource allocation.
