Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Design and development of Front axle & Rear axle systems for small commercial vehicle. Responsible for design and development of complete front axle ensuring product requirement, wheel alignment parameters and vehicle dynamics. Responsible for complete design and development of rear axle including banjo beam, gears, axle shaft, wheel ends, seals etc Lead component and system Quality, Cost and Delivery target setting, compatibility, and adherence. Manage the design, development and delivery of the front and rear axle systems Manage the integration of front and rear axle with Chassis Systems: Suspension, Steering, Subframes, Powertrain Mounts and Wheels & Tyres. Create system archetypes and component development roadmaps for future vehicle cycle planning. Ensure technical best practice documentation, design manuals and testing procedures are appropriately created and maintained to ensure consistency and robust failure mode avoidance. Ensure all failure mode avoidance activities, commodity planning, design progression and DVP testing is completed to achieve Final Engineering Sign Off in line with timing constraints. Experience7 to 10 YearsIndustry PreferredAutomotiveQualificationsB.E./B.Tech In Mechanical EngineeringGeneral Requirements Should have Front axle and Rear axle system design knowledge in both 3 and 4 wheelers Detailed knowledge and experience of I beam & Banjo design and development , Front axle and Rear axle systems in Sub 4 tonne LCV – Both ICE & EV vehicles Should be proficient in forging, casting and sheet metal parts design and development. Strong knowledge on material selection of forging and casting parts. Proficiency in homologation requirements both domestic and export vehicle Knowledge on Catia, MATLAB Simulink, Kinematics & ADAMS.-
