Analyzes and evaluates proposals based on thedecision matrix. Recommends proposals for the sub system that meets functional requirements. Finalises the sub system design meeting all requirements like Styling data, manufacturing requirements, SAM andperformance, durability and Homologation requirement Demonstrates understanding of various kinds of sheet metals used in body-in-white structure along with their Mechanicalproperties like Yield strength, Tensile strength, % elongation etc. Designs sheet metal component/ system level solutionswhich meets vehicle structural requirements and overall performance targets set for the vehicle program. Ensuresmanufacturing feasibility in consultation with manufacturing team. Has the knowledge to design the component/system takingcare of corrosion resistance, raw material availability, joining techniques etc. Has the knowledge of the various cost driversin sheet metal design and can advantageously used that for achieving lower cost To direct small teams in respective domains of vehicle development, and come with solution options for domain problems To Focus on sustaining strong relationships and encourages self/ team work well with CFT. Delivers the responsibility of self /own teams to ensure delightful Customer Experience. Ensures effective planning to translate ideas into actions of self and team with Agility. Ensures no overrun of time,cost, quality and and other critical parameters as required to remain frugal and meets/exceeds aexpectations without excuses Ensures self and team members deliver superior performance by helping them to leverage the organisation systems and processes for learning and development, recognition,and communication.
