DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance :

Maintain and update local health and safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure confidentiality and adherence to corporate data protection and record-keeping standards.

Apply HSE culture to business processes and immediately report major injury hazards.

Communicate effectively to promote safety awareness and track/report monthly metrics in the enterprise incident management system.

Training and Development :

Develop, build, and maintain health and safety training content.

Coordinate and assist in delivering health and safety training programs.

Maintain accurate training records and assist in trend analysis.

Inspection and Audit :

Participate in health and safety inspections and audit programs.

Support local employee engagement initiatives to foster an interdependent safety culture.

Assist in identifying and controlling non-conforming materials and perform quality checks.

Reporting and Documentation :

Provide data reports as requested and support trend analysis.

Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.

Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

Support and Coordination :

Support health, safety, and wellness initiatives.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including customer sites and dealerships, to ensure HSE compliance.

Travel to Area Offices and customer sites as needed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is required. Experience: 5-7 years of relevant work experience with in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.

The Zonal HSE will be based at the Cummins DBU Zonal Office in Bengaluru and is responsible for driving HSE initiatives across the South Zone, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
