OPERATIONS
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted function that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

OUR IMPACT
Real Estate Portfolio Servicing Manage a team responsible for ongoing maintenance of RE positions - Team is responsible managing cashflows and life-cycle events on RE Loan Portfolios. The team also works closely with stakeholders providing services to RE properties and paying out relevant expenses to property management companies. The team is also involved in various aspects of recording and maintaining risk inventory by working closely with stakeholders within Asset Management, Risk, Finance, Credit, Controllers and Technology segments.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Supervise and manage the team which includes both Analysts and Associate, providing them the necessary guidance, mentorship, and feedback.
•Partner with internal Stakeholders (such as Business, Technology, Risk and Controllers) to understand business requirements and implement changes to support growth.
•This is a highly collaborative role, and such requires the capability to work effectively with a diverse range of professionals both internally and externally, covering a wide variety of products and functions.
•Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the RE Loan product lifecycle by interacting with Business, Credit, Legal, Controllers, Risk, Technology and Compliance to effectively manage Risk, uplift our infrastructure and provide first class Client Service.
•Leverage your analytical and quantitative skills to understand complex regulatory requirements and ensure Ops are complaint with the relevant regulatory asks.
•Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions and work with our business partners to strengthen process Controls thereby reducing risk and Ops effort.
•Demonstrates understanding of industry and business standards and practices of loan documentation processes.
•Performs supervisory checks on transactional processing which may include Borrower advances, invoicing, payment collection & distribution, and reconciliations.
•Minimizes risk through understanding of policy and procedural requirements and servers as a checker for activities processed by other team members.
•Leads or participates in enhancements to existing and/ or creation of new workflows, processes, procedures, and system functionality to increase efficacy and efficiency of the team’s loan servicing functions or day-to-day management.
•Leverages advanced communication skills to engage with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve transactional discrepancies and to collaborate on process and product enhancements and improvements.
•Displays ability to function as a collaborator while working in a demanding environment.
•Escalates proactively issues and takes initiative to both resolve and drive change on process.
•Provides guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members.
•Manages escalations and interaction with senior management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial services preferably dealing Real Estate/Mortgage Teams
•Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous diligence.
•Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal and external clients with differing levels of product experience.
•Proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
•Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
•Excellent written communication and presentations skills
•Ability using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
•Adaptive person with the ability to process enormous amounts of information to decide operational requirements and potential issues.
