JR55370 Sr. Payroll Analyst IJob Description
We are looking for a high energy and passionate payroll analyst, with strong teamwork spirit and integrity to join us as Snr Payroll Analyst, India.
You will be accountable for Payroll operations mainly forIndia, withopportunities to learn about South Asia countries’ payrollprocess in future. Also, you will be an individual contributor and support the team in delivering payroll services that are compliant to local statutory regulations, controls, and company policies.
Functional Roles and Responsibility
1. Responsible for ensuring that India payroll entitiesare processed accurately and timely by the outsourced payroll vendor every month.
2. Responsible for ensuring tax and provident fund contributions are paid according to statutory requirements and timelines
3. Work with Customer Service team, Employee Relations team and Finance for amount owing by employees
4. Participate actively in regular Payroll Operation meetings and provide feedback to team for continuous improvement of payroll processes
5. Processing of Time off, leave and vacation pay out for terminated employees
6. Validation of new hire's Master data on weekly basis and ensure input reach Payroll Vendor on timely basis
7. Update monthly payroll metrics at Sharepoint
8. Work closely within Finance team for all the statutory related payments like, Gratuity, TDS, and Tax filings as per cutoff
9. Review taxability report - any taxable items for payroll process
10. Perform Salary Reconciliations for Output received from Payroll Vendor for 100% accuracy and give the clearances
11. Have regular meetings with payroll vendor to review payroll service and resolve any gap
12. Coordinating with HR team for payroll related on-boarding docs to run the payroll on time
13. Create the Bank encrypted files and sharing to Vendor for payment upload to bank portal
14. Communicate and update Leaders and employees on payroll related activities
15. Address employees’ queries through case management tool (ServiceNow) and emails.
16. Responsible for providing monthly Payroll fund forecast to Treasury department.
17. Support on any adhoc projects or payroll related work that may arise from time to time
Education
Minimum Degree or equivalent.
Business, Finance, Human Resource Management, Tax & Accounting
Experience
Minimum of 5-10 years of India Payroll experience (in-house and/or outsourced model)
Strong knowledge in local labor and taxation laws
Experience in payroll transformation projects and implementation.
Experience in WorkDay and ServiceNow will be advantageous.
