TheSSG Process Development team is looking to add a LCMS supportchemist to the dynamicgroup.
KeyResponsibilities:
Thesuccessful candidate must have a fundamental understanding of thechemistry required to perform analytical testing on a wide varietyof products using Chromatography and other Analytical techniques.These analyses will support the cutting edge development andmanufacture of OLED materials. Applicant must be a selfstartercapable of independent work in a quality controlled environmentwith high attention to detail. Principal responsibilities includereagent and sample preparation sample/data analysis report writinginstrument operation andmaintenance.
Specifictasks include thefollowing: PerformLCMS analysis of raw materials in process and finished goodsaccording to standard operatingprocedures. Preparesamples for analysis involving cleanliness and complex stepsanalyze interpret and reportresults. Interfacewith technical collaborators to understand priorities solveproblems and communicatefindings. Performmaintenance and troubleshooting of analyticalinstruments. Workindependently organize and prioritize multiple projectstroubleshoot and solve problems with minimalsupervision.Responsible for the safety of the team and others as well as theprotection of theenvironment.Develop personally and professionally through work experience andby acquisition of new skills as determined by the expanding needsof theposition.WorkEnvironment:
Based in MonroevillePennsylvania.
Educationaland required workexperience:
B.S. or M.S. degree in chemistry related fieldwith Experience inanalysis using LCMS andHPLC Ability toperform light duty work including lifting a minimum of 25lbs.
