Overview:The InvoiceClerk plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timelyprocessing of invoices within the organization. They areresponsible for reviewing verifying and reconciling invoices aswell as maintaining records and communicating with vendors. Thisrole is essential for maintaining positive vendor relationships andensuring financial accuracy within thecompany.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Reviewing andverifying the accuracy of invoices and other accountingdocuments
  • Entering invoice data into theaccounting system with precision and attention todetail
  • Reconciling invoices with purchaseorders and receiving reports
  • Communicating withvendors to resolve discrepancies or obtain additionalinformation
  • Maintaining organized and detailedrecords of invoices and payments
  • Identifyingand implementing process improvements for invoiceprocessing
  • Assisting with monthend and yearendfinancial closing activities
  • Preparing andprocessing outgoing payments tovendors
  • Ensuring compliance with companypolicies and procedures
  • Assisting with auditsand providing necessarydocumentation
RequiredQualifications:
  • Associates degree inaccounting finance or related field
  • Priorexperience in accounts payable or relatedrole
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel andaccounting software
  • Strong attention to detailand accuracy in data entry
  • Excellentorganizational and time managementskills
  • Effective communication andinterpersonal abilities
  • Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment
