Instrumentation Engineer

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. A master's degree may be preferred for some positions. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tunnel instrumentation, preferably with experience in TBM and NATM tunneling methods. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification may be required. Proficiency in relevant software tools for design, analysis, and documentation. Knowledge of tunneling methods, construction practices, and safety regulations.

Job Description:

Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation systems for monitoring and controlling tunneling operations using TBMs or NATM. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that instrumentation systems meet project requirements and specifications. Perform inspections and tests on instrumentation systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules. Prepare reports, documentation, and drawings related to instrumentation systems. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians. Stay updated with the latest developments in tunneling technology and best practices.
