Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team to help build and maintain our growing list of products. You should have prior experience of being responsible for building sufficiently complex features by yourself.

Responsibilities:

Implement product features writing clean, robust, reusable code with testsConduct peer reviews to keep the codebase a great environment to work onCollaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver high quality featuresBring new ideas and best practices to improve the team and the codebase

Requirements:

5+ years of professional work experienceProficiency in backend programming languages like Python Experience working with web application frameworks like Django or FlaskExperience in building web services using relational databases like PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDBProficiency in writing highly performant and scalable codeExperience in building REST APIs and a good understanding of best practices around building APIsGood communication skills with an ability to articulate your viewsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
