In this role, you will work with GFGO Head of Information and Data Governance and be accountable to execute on information and data governance policies, standards and processes across Data Domains. You will be responsible to lead data governance (incl. data products), metadata, data quality and data ethics, risk & compliance to support Data Domains and realize maximum value from data, for the benefit of our business, customers & employees.
Responsibilities
Standards & Frameworks
• Responsible to design, maintain and execute on the Data Operating Model which includes governance, processes and enabling technology.
• Responsible to design and maintain governance processes, policies and metrics such as information and data governance, data products, metadata, data quality, data ethics, risk & compliance, etc.
Program Governance
• Responsible to define and maintain the list of data domains and ensure that data domain related roles are appointed.
• Monitor the maturity level of Data Operating Model implementation in data domains (e.g. are the roles appointed and secured, are they working according to defined processes and using developed frameworks)
• Partner with Data Domains and provide support to execute on defined Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) thereby realizing defined business impact.
• Advise reporting and escalations of maturity level breeches of data domain OKR implementation to the Data council.
• Support the Data Council by setting the governance related agenda and reviewing supporting documents.
Change Management
• Drive knowledge sharing events and activities on data operating model (e.g. data governance roles, global data governance tools etc.) to and from the Data Governance Community
• Support the DEO Lead with communication of governance priorities and successes across Ericsson as needed.
• Capture feedback and strengthen information and data governance processes and tooling.
Technology & Tooling
• Supervise and guide implementation of data management platforms such as data marketplace, data catalog, data quality, etc.
• Partner with Enterprise IT and Master Data Management to apply data management standards on source systems.
Requirements
• Leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role with team management skills, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Ability to establish strong partnerships, articulate complex concepts and engage & influence others to achieve productive and impactful solutions.
• Experience with modern data technologies such as data warehouse, cloud technologies, data governance, data marketplace, AI-ML frameworks, etc will be preferred.
• Define, develop and launch the global data governance strategy supported with roadmap, goals and framework to establish data governance for the organization.
• Lead the following Data Governance capabilities –Data Quality, Data Ownership & Stewardship, Data Migration, Data Discoverability/Cataloguing, Data Ethics & Compliance.
• Build and lead a Data Governance team, and collectively lead a wider department as a member of the Global Data leadership team.• Embed data governance across the organization by implementing the data governance framework, sponsoring data standards and procedures and stand up data governance scorecards. 
• Partner with stakeholders across senior management, legal compliance and more to define policies and standards.
• Data access policies, data quality, lineage, classification, Data ethics, risk & compliance
