  • Workon AIsupported tools and an evolving CMS with skill andagility
  • Simplifycommunication and rework copy (as needed) for varyingdemographics.
  • Editcopy for varying lengths and adhere to various platformspecificguidelines.
  • Ensurealignment of content to brand requirements andtonality.

  • Havean experience of 0.53.5 years working in a newsroom preferably withsports writingexperience.
  • Someonewho lives and breathes livesports
  • Havea keen grasp on cricket football tennis and Indian sports andfollow it with a keeneye.
  • Updatedabout the current on goings across a wide spectrum of other sports(football tennis F1 Olympic sports etc) wellversed with where tolook for content and aware about the who swho.
  • Knowthe language of how to write for sports and be snappy with yourcopy.
  • Knowwhat image will best describe yourstory.
  • Havegeneral news awareness across categories (tech nation world autoetc.)
  • Amenableto work on any given day including weekends and holidays to addressthe news cycle well. Glances content teams work 365 days a yearwhile individuals in the team work on 5 of 7days.
  • Outstandingin your ability to use language and grammar well without beingverbose for a newage contentplatform.
  • Passionateabout working in a fastpaced environment where role dynamicsexpectations and work nature can evolve almost on a quarterlybasis.
  • Comfortablewith using basic video and image editing software to process basicmultimediawork.

Responsibilities: Write accurate and high-quality sports contentacross publishing platforms. Work on new-age content creation toolsIdeate on fresh sports content on a daily basis Plan and executemarquee sports events like IPL, World Cups etc. Work on a varietyof sports - cricket, football, tennis, hockey, F1 etc. Develop newways of delivering sports content to highly active users. Work toenhance the quality of our content within tight timelines. Work onAI-supported tools and an evolving CMS with skill and agilitySimplify communication and rework copy (as needed) for varyingdemographics. Edit copy for varying lengths and adhere to variousplatform-specific guidelines. Ensure alignment of content to brandrequirements and tonality. Ideal Profile: Have an experience of0.5-3.5 years working in a newsroom, preferably with sports writingexperience. Someone who lives and breathes live sports Have a keengrasp on cricket, football, tennis and Indian sports and follow itwith a keen eye. Updated about the current on goings across a widespectrum of other sports (football, tennis, F1, Olympic sportsetc), well-versed with where to look for content and aware aboutthe who s who. Know the language of how to write for sports and besnappy with your copy. Know what image will best describe yourstory. Have general news awareness across categories (tech, nation,world, auto, etc.) Amenable to work on any given day, includingweekends and holidays, to address the news cycle well. Glance'scontent teams work 365 days a year, while individuals in the teamwork on 5 of 7 days. Outstanding in your ability to use languageand grammar well, without being verbose, for a new-age contentplatform.
