Job Summary:

Practo is seeking a hands-on and results-driven SEO professional to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in improving online visibility, innovatively researching to increase the share of voice for informational content. 

The successful applicant will be an important member of the SEO team while leading execution to maximize search engine visibility and keyword coverage. 

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze traffic to identify opportunities for growth  Conduct SEO audits and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions – using tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and manual analysis. Keep abreast of algorithm updates, adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain high rankings. Analyze CTRs, positions and keywords ranking in top 10 using analytics tools like GA, GSC, providing reports with actionable insights. Liaise with the development team to ensure that website infrastructure aligns with SEO best practices. Conduct thorough keyword research and market insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Familiarity with CMS & managing websites using WordPress will be a plus. 

What Skills Make For a Good Fit

Strong understanding of Google ranking factors, algorithms and on-page SEO Experienced with various SEO tools (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs) Excellent attention to detail and analytical/communication skills Posses a hard-working and “can-do” attitude Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheet or any analytical tools
