CNC Machinist

• Programset up and run Kunzmann CNC machines with HeidenhainControl.
• Setup and run CNC Vertical MachiningCenter DMG 103V.
• Retrieve CNC programs and loadthem to the machine.
• Edit in Gcode and manuallyprogram using Heidenhain Control.
• Setupfixturing and come up with your setups on themachine.
• Perform firstpiece and inprocessquality inspections.
• Set up cutters in holdersand adjust height and length.
• Readdrawings/prints to identify operations specifications andtolerances.
• Meet precise tolerances andfinishing requirements.
• Use various hand toolsto finish parts and check.
• Use measuringdevices like micrometers and calipers to ensure specifications aremet.
• Perform operator maintenance tasks likeoiling greasing and cleaning the machine(5S).
• Use a forklift or crane to store andretrieve fixturing and other essentialequipment.
• Operate other machines in thedepartment asneeded.

• Highschool diploma required. Advanced education or apprenticeshippreferred.
• 35 years of CNC experiencepreferred.
• Strong skills in editing GCode andmanual programming preferred.
• Strong mathskills and the ability to work from detailed and involved partdrawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacityof the machine and controls are alsoessential.
• Willingness to move between workcenters.

• Ability to liftheavy weights bend stoop and perform repetitivetasks.
• Ability to work in various conditionssuch as extreme heat and noiselevels.
