  • Incoordination with the COP lead and supervise the state projectteams in the allotted geography to roll out TOFIs Program DeliveryModel. The core focus is to work with stakeholders to identifyprioritize and pursue promising public and private goodleaning TOFexpansion opportunities while ensuring oversight of all technicaland operational aspects of the project including planning andimplementation.
  • Conveneand facilitate the successful functioning of the states TOFInnovation Platform (IP) and conduct monthly/weekly meetings withrelevant statedepartments.
  • Liaisewith local government institutions relevant private sectorcompanies and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to ensure theyengage effectively in support of TOFIsobjectives.
  • Overseestatelevel project financial management and reporting on projectdeliverables.
  • Extendsupport to field staff in executing field activities selectingfarmers distributing inputs collecting data cleaning datamonitoring andsubmission.
  • Leadthe organization of project workshops training sessions and othercapacity development programs network development knowledge sharingfor mutual learning and all TOFIinitiatives.
  • Workwith the COP on the development of the annual implementation planbudgets and other projectdeliverables.
  • Supportthe rollout of the projects Monitoring Evaluation &Learning Plan; Gender Analysis Plan; and Environmental Monitoringand Mitigation Plan with a focus on capturing Activity LocationData.
  • Prepareand maintain records and draft reports regarding statelevelactivities as perTOFI.
  • Toimplement TOFI work plan in the states of Andhra Pradesh Odisha& TamilNadu


Master s degree in agriculture, Agroforestry, EnvironmentalSciences, Forestry, Social Sciences, Natural Resource Management,etc. At least 5 years of field experience in implementingdonor-funded projects and/or development programs, withdemonstrated experience leading a team to achieve developmentresults. Previous working experience in CGIAR centres/internationalorganizations or other Indian states is preferred. Provenexperience with state officials and ICAR institutes is highlydesirable to support strategy development, implementation plans,and decision-making. Fluent in written and spoken English.Knowledge of state languages is highly desirable. Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills, along with networking andinterpersonal skills, are critical for this role. Fluency andresidency in the language (reading, writing, and spoken) spoken inthe preferred state is essential. Familiarity with standardsoftware packages (MS Office).
