Overview:TheServiceNow Engineer plays a crucial role in the organization byoverseeing the design development and implementation of ServiceNowplatform solutions to meet business needs efficiently. This role isessential in ensuring seamless IT service delivery maintainingoptimal performance of the ServiceNow platform and enhancingoverall user experience.KeyResponsibilities:- Collaborate withstakeholders to understand business requirements and translate theminto technical solutions within ServiceNowplatform.
- Design develop and customizeServiceNow applications modules and workflows based on bestpractices and industry standards.
- Configure andmanage the ServiceNow platform including core ITSM modules CMDBService Catalog Incident Problem and ChangeManagement.
- Integrate ServiceNow with otherthirdparty systems and applications to ensure seamless data flowand interoperability.
- Provide advanced supportand troubleshooting for ServiceNow platform identifying andresolving technical issues and performancebottlenecks.
- Assist in the evaluation andimplementation of ServiceNow upgrades and patches ensuring systemstability and security.
- Create and maintaintechnical documentation including design specifications test plansand operational procedures.
- Lead andparticipate in ServiceNowrelated projects following projectmanagement methodologies to deliver solutions on time and withinbudget.
- Conduct regular performance tuning andoptimization to ensure the ServiceNow platform operates at peakefficiency.
- Stay updated with the latestServiceNow features functionalities and industry trends torecommend and implement innovativesolutions.
- Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
- ServiceNow Certified SystemAdministrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)certifications.
- Minimum of X years ofexperience in ServiceNow platform development customization andimplementation.
- Proven expertise in JavaScriptHTML CSS and other scripting languages forServiceNow.
- Indepth knowledge of core ITSMprocesses including Incident Management Problem Management andChange Management.
- Experience in ServiceNowCMDB configuration and management ensuring accurate and reliabledata for IT operations.
- Demonstratedproficiency in integrating ServiceNow with external systems andapplications using web services REST APIs and MIDServers.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNowarchitecture components and securitycontrols.
- Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complexServiceNow technical issues.
- Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate withcrossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Projectmanagement experience and proficiency with Agile or ITILmethodologies.
- Capability to work in afastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlineseffectively.
