Payment: $120 USD upon successful completion of the recording task. 


About the Job:

The project will collect various types of audio recordings (Singing) in Mandarin Chinese. We are looking for participants who can sing in a  Studio-quality recordings with musical diversity over particular genres that can be used to train & evaluate automated EQ & Compression algorithms.


Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in Mandarin Chinese
  • The genres can be self-identified by the artist/participants, but should be validated for consistency.


Required Qualifications:

  • Songs should be recorded in a Studio Environment. 
    • Studio-Quality microphones - ideally with a variety of dynamic & condenser microphones.
  • Sing and record  10 songs or a total of 30 minutes for all of songs.
  • Songs should be in your native language (Mandarin Chinese)
  • Audio format: Preferably 48 kHz, minimum of 44100 Hz PCM, mono, single channel, WAV file format.
